Baby #2

A few days before leaving Boston, I made it a point to see our Doctor one last time. It was great to hear his/her heartbeat and get a quick glance at how the baby's developing. Seeing our little one gave me peace of mind before we made the big move and switched Doctors. Here are a few pics of our little peanut!

 

In this picture he/she is 16 weeks along. Now I'm 18, and have grown quite a bit! It's amazing how much earlier I'm showing this time around! I guess I didn't do as many situps between pregnancies as I should have!! 

This week baby Wilson can hear us! And, just in the last few days, I THINK I've started to feel a little movement. 

The funniest thing is Avery doesn't quite understand that I'm pregnant. Every time I tell her "there's a baby in mama's belly," she lifts up my shirt, pokes my belly button and says "NO" with a strong head nod.

 

Moving Back To Austin

I can't believe this is happening! I came home from work a few weeks ago and saw this! As my grandmother said "This is the best news I've heard in a long time!" We've been back in Austin now for 2 weeks and it still feels like vacation.

Happy Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was was so special. Our day was filled with lots of Family time. After church we headed into Boston for brunch on Newbury Street at my favorite restaurant, Stephanie's. Following brunch, we walked over to the Boston Common to watch the annual Duck parade which Avery enjoyed as that's currently her favorite animal. Following the parade, we walked around the park, feed the ducks and enjoyed the gardens. Our morning was ended with a stop at my favorite ice cream spot, Treadwells. Couldn't have been a better day in Boston.

Trip to Napa

When you think of the wine country, you immediately think of lush vineyards and tasking great wines.  Well this trip turned out a little bit differently considering we found we were pregnant the week before we left.  Andrew quickly rejiggered our daily schedule (yes, we had a schedule detailed in excel. I'm married to an engineer!) so we could all enjoy the trip vs our original pan of visiting as many winery's as possible.  We still had a really great time vising small towns, bike riding and eating at fantastic restaurants!  Here are a few great pictures!!
