It's Been 7 Weeks Already!

The New Normal

I can't believe it's been 7 weeks since Avery has been born.  Wow how our lives changed! It's kind of funny that my new daily goals include working out, shower (do hair & makeup) and get out of the house at least once! Now that we're over the 6 week hump, we are finally finding our new normal as a family. Andrew and I try and do date night once a week. We've both been able to resume extracurricular activities such as soccer and tennis. And we've started to run together as a family on the weekends.

Avery's Development

It's so amazing to me how much Avery has changed since she was born. Every day Avery shows us more of her personality. She loves to gaze out the skylight and giggles at the sound of birds chirping. She loves to dance to music but falls in to a deep sleep when you sing her a lullaby. And she's even trying to join the conversation when you talk to her by adding her own coos.
